Pleasant Lane is a great school, both my kids attended and came out well rounded and more than ready for middle schools. Classrooms are automated, lots of new computers, Project Expand for high perfoermers, new wing to the school added a year or two ago and some great new teachers.

'I am pleased with the accelerated rate of learning at Pleasant Lane, especially in math, reading, writing and social studies. There is a lot of parent involvement which is a big part of what makes it a great place. Most important, my son likes school and the children that attend.'

These expectations have been adjusted to better align with the Common Core State Standards, a multi-state initiative that established year-by-year guidelines outlining the grade-specific skills and content students need to stay on the path to college and career readiness. The higher expectations of the new standards will result in a downward shift of where students rank in meeting or exceeding standards.
