Lovington Grade School is a great small town school. The class sizes range from 13 to 30, for an ENTIRE grade! All of the children know each of their classmates and are able to form strong bonds with them as they grow up together. The teachers at Lovington Grade School are very good. They also have a principle that has been with the district that is extremely nice and helpful. And although money issues have made discussions about closing the high school a huge debate they do now have a new superintendent who seems to be turning the district around. The grade school has an active PTCO (parent, teacher, community organization) that is fun to be involved in. The kids are able to participate in all sports, basketball, volleyball, football, baseball and soccer. This is a great school in a nice small town.
