Lincoln Trail is an awesome school with dedicated teachers and staff. The excellent teachers, involved and caring principal, and incredible opportunities offered at LT make it a perfect fit for the parents of our community who expect excellence in our education system.

Lincoln Trail is a highly supportive school with great teachers. Mrs. Weaver goes out of her way to help the kids. She dresses up in cute outfits throughout the year at assemblies and the kids LOVE her and respect her. She's on the playground, she's everywhere with the kids. The first post isn't even close to reality. It sounds like one of those parents with a problem kid that is disruptive to the class and just wants to pass the buck. They use false comparisons to try to prove a point.

The staff at LT care about their students as people and care about their academic progress. The Principal of LT has gone above and beyond for the students and is greatly respected. LT has amazing ISAT scores because of their hard working staff and involved parents.

Lincoln Trail is a huge letdown for parents after their children come from Sangamon. At Sangamon the children are respected and treated as individuals, at Lincoln Trail children are expected to be part of the herd. If you have a special needs child they will be singled out and every move scrutinized until they can get the paper trail together to get an alternative placement made. If you have a child who is a follower and does consistantly excellent work the administration definitely wants your child, so they can pad those ISAT scores. Lincoln Trail is a huge disappointment. The kids go from a school where the principal is supportive of the kids to a school whose principal treats the kids as animals that must be punished.
