Amazing Teachers! A great Christian education.
My daughter has been attending for 5 years and my son for the past 3. I couldn't imagine sending them anywhere else. Zion has wonderful teachers that have many of the same principles that I do. The students are respectful and help each other.
I love this school because it has heart. Everyone cares and watches over each other. I could not imagine our life without Zion in it!
My daughters have attended Zion for the last 5 years, and am very thankful we have such an excellent school available for our children. Zion is committed to providing top-notch education while ensuring each student is respected and appreciated as an individual. We know the foundation our kids are receiving at Zion will not only help them excel academically, but also instill in them values and respect for the world around them.
I love that Zion Lutheran School is focused on teaching our kids the word of Jesus Christ and they integrate this into their entire curriculum. I also am particularly greatful for some of their extra services they provide parents such as their Back Up program which allows kids to go after school to a supervised and loving environment. Our three kids have had some wonderful, creative and inspiring teachers.
We had tried the public schooll had were completely appalled by what goes on there. Putting our children at Zion was the best decision we made. Quality of education is much higher and there is a family feel among the families that attend. Teachers know the kids in all the grades, not just the ones they teach. And the kids themselves in all grade levels from pre-school to 8th know eachother and the school promotes the older kids to assist the younger ones. Great activities and althetics too. I also disagree with the previous review on it not being a school for kids with special needs. My son receives both P/T and O/T and the teachers and students are wonderful with him. The grading scale is tough though and many teachers are very picky and may set too high a standard.
Excellent school for science and english. Early computer education. Appropriate for college-bound students. Not for children with learning or behavioral difficulties. Excellent supervision and disciplining of children on playground.
