The principal and faculty in the main office are very unprofessional and uncaring about your children. I did not feel my children were in safe hands at that school. Most of all the Pre-K student CARRIE JONES was hostile towards the children. There were numerous complaints from parents and children alike, yet she still holds a position at the school. CARRIE JONES should not work with children. She has physically and verbally abused children in the past, and from what I understand, in the present. I believe I made the right decision to remove my children from the school last year after Pre-K. If you care about your children, DO NOT place them at Lincoln school or with CARRIE JONES. It's astounding how humans act when they believe no one is looking... Thank you

Lincoln Elementary is the most beautiful building in the School District. There are some really great teachers at Lincoln. There are very little opportunities for children at Lincoln (or anywhere in Marion)such as an Art or P.E. Specialist in every elementary building, something standard in most school districts, even smaller ones! Unfortunately, the quality of the school and the school spirit has declined in the past 2 years under the leadership of a new principal. I hope Marion Unit #2 will eventually spend the money on the children to give them better opportunities!

Wonderful teachers and excellent curriculum. My daughter has P.E. twice a week and music/Art three times a week. The teachers are very caring and the parents are really involved.

I love the teachers at this school. There is very little money for programs which is not understandable due to the raising of taxes each year. But the teachers are the only thing that keep this school going. So wonderful. And the parents along with the kids love the teachers. So many favorites among the students! The parents are so involved. The kids are happy.

Terrible school district! In spite of high local taxes, very little money seems to go into the school programming. There is no art, no p.e., no quality music, and very few extra-curricular activites. The principal in Lincoln is very cold and the school is therefore very cold. It is an uncomfortable place to visit because of the unfriendly atmosphere. Many teachers are very good, but can't do more than the distrit will allow. Lincoln Elementary is a beautiful building with no warmth. There are smaller districts than Marion with far better programs and activities for the children. If you have any choice at all, don't send your children to any Marion schools.
