Wonderful Catholic School, my daughter attended all nine years and earned a great education and went on some cool trips to space camp in Alabama, 8th grade trip to Chicago and Camp Ondessonk. The staff led by Principal Holmes provided the nuturing, caring and Catholic environment I am proud to say "our children attended SJN".

Be very careful before sending your child to this school. The education is currently average to below average. Some of the teachers are great, but there seems to be fewer and fewer of the great ones. The principal is poor at best. It is just not a nice place anymore and many wonderful families have left.

I think that St. John Neumann is a wonderful school. It provides my kids with a good education and a very good Catholic education. I wouldn't switch my kids for anything. They also have great after school activities, including sports, chess club, speech team, and piano. I would recamind it a 100%, it will be what you are looking for.

SJN has many dedicated teachers and extremely wonderful students. However, the administration leaves quite a lot to be desired. The principal does not support his teachers in the least. I fear for the future of this school as it cannot survive in the manner it is currently being ran. I fear for the teachers currently employed there as they have no voice for their concerns.

My daughter has attended SJN since she was in 3-year-old pre-K. She is in 2nd grade now and loves this school and all the friends she has made. I really appreciate the quality of education she is getting and the fact that the teachers and especially the principal really seem to care about the students. I have always found the teachers approachable and willing to discuss how my daughter is doing in class.

We started our boys a year ago and have been very happy. The quality of the K program really impressed us. The school has a lot of new technology which enhances the excellent curriculum. This is a very friendly welcoming school. Our oldest boy entered into the 3rd grade. We were concerned that it would be hard for him to be the 'new kid'. We have been very happy at the efforts to make him feel welcome and a part of the school. Having researched most of the private schools in the Metro East, we feel that we have placed our children in the best possible situation. If you are a member of one of the parishes, fees are very good.

I sent my child to St John Neumann for 4 years. The staff is pretty stuck up if you ask me. The moms are in clingy-chit chat groups and are not very friendly. Tuition is high, yet every week they ask for $$ in one form or another. Decent education but not very welcoming. Very dissapointed with this private school.
