Supeperintendent does NOT support "Intestate Compact on Education Opportunity for Military Children". My daughter went here with some really fabulous teachers. The Music teacher is AMAZING! Her 8th grade English teacher couldn't find the right worksheets so she gave out ones with the directions in Spanish. When we asked for her to be moved because my daughter objected to the graphic content of some of the conversations in one class, the admin. suspended 1 kid and made sure my daughter was the pariah of the school by calling in each student to verify what she had said. We only asked for her to be moved- took it to the superintendent- given the run around--VERY DISAPPOINTED

My son has gone to Mascoutah Middle school from 6-8 grade and has loved going to school every day. He gets help when he asks and has become very independent. All of his teachers have been great. Mt daughter starts there in the fall and I am not worried in the least that her middle school years will be great.

My school has great teachers, nice princibles, amazing library and computer labs, they keep kids excersizing, have a affective D.A.R.E program, promote reading, good school lunches,a outstanding band and choir and so much more. It is no doubt the best school ever.

This is our first year at this school. It's been a hard one already. Discipline is over the top -- there is no room for mistakes, second chances. Homework is about 2 hours a night(yes, weekend too), teachers are rude to the children. There is no place for parents in this school -- that's the way they want it. Kind of makes you wonder what they are hiding?? What they will learn in books will be taken away by what they learn about how a teacher can treat a student and get away with it. This is not a school for learning and making mistakes it's all about the discipline.

I am in 8th grade at this school and I love it. The teachers are great and the curriculum is challenging. I find this to be a very good school

My child has been in the Mascoutah School District since first grade. I am pleased with the district and her experiences at the elementary and middle school.

The 7th grade teachers are the best. They are strict but yet made learning fun for my child.
