My kids have been in this school from pre-k to 5th. We had some great teacher. However, sometimes you need to get on the teachers ao that they will do there jobs. My daughter needs someone to make sure that she stays on task. We had to ride the teachers to get their help. However, with a little push the teachers are very helpful. There is bullying at the school. The school does not believe there is a problem. I do not regret having my kids go to this school. There were worst choices.

My kid has probably one of the best teachers in this school. She communicates with the parents and gives kids just enough homework to keep them occupied and activities to keep their interests up.However, the office staff, all the way to the principal, are probably the worst I've ever seen. Rude, unaccommodating, ill-mannered! I just hope that these people get "educated" on manners themselves. Makes me wonder how the children get treated themselves - those poor kids!!!

My husband is active duty military. When we relocate to a new area one of the first things we do is look for schools for our children. From what we had seen we though Mascoutah schools would be good. however we found out very differently. We have 5 children. Of those 4 of them attended this elementary school. The largest problem that we had was with the special education department. They were not willing to make changes to work with our son. They did not have the knowledge nor the comfort level to teach him. We moved to another local school district that has worked with him and is accommodating and he is growing and making progress by leaps and bounds which he had never done under this school's special education program. At one point my son was very fussy and was trying to express that he was not comfortable with his aide and the special education director told me that he was just being manipulative. I would not recommend this school if you have a child with special needs.

The school has great teachers, and I know my children are getting a great learning experience at this school. The office staff are rude, and horrible to talk to. I would rate this school 5 stars if the office staff were more friendly to parents.

Great security. Great principal. Always pleasant to speak to someone over the phone or in person. Too many detentions for minor things and if the student doesn't get it signed and returned the following day, he/she gets another detention. Flexible scheduling time with my son's teacher. Over-all, I'm not ecstatic but pleased with the school and administration.

Our district is top notch! With G&T prgrm in 4th that evalutate students annually we are getting the job done. All the extras are there and the teachers CARE. Parents volunteer regularly and adminstration listens. They know the kids..we love it here!

The principal is a poor leader with little results to problems that occur within the school at the Middle School.
