James Memorial Christian Academy

James Memorial Christian Academy is a well kept secret in Maywood, Illinois. The staff is qualified and dedicated. The facilities promote a closeness and compatibility that can not be found in other schools. The instructional strategies used are becoming more and more innovative. I would definitely recommend this school to all. Try it before you try one of the bigger schools. The staff is much more compassionate and caring. Christ is the focal point and academic excellence is the venue of choice.

The academics at JMCA are strong, and much emphasis is put on learning. Phonics and Reading are the biggest subjects in Kindergarten, and most of the senior kindergarteners can read. The Parent Organization is very involved with the school and does multiple fundraising efforts each year.

I know the school provides an excellent foundation in kg4 for the students. The administrators and principal are professional in their demeanor and know that students can learn and achieve at any age. The various programs offered throughout the year are outstanding. I have 2 granddaughters, age 8 and 12 who are performing excellent and I know James Memorial has made a difference in their academic background.

I feel that James Memorial Christian Academy is a very excellent school and the curriculum is outstanding. My daughter has been attending this school since she was 4 years old and is currently in the second grade. She has a better understanding of her school work and I am so proud of the way the teachers have mentored my child to the best she can be and she gets the best education ever.
