Edgebrook has a very open and supportive environment for students. I am very pleased with the teachers, one in particular, Mrs. Clark, who has gone above and beyond towards making sure that each and every student is successful. She is kind, patient, and very creative, I hear nothing but great things from both our child and other friends in the classroom. The staff in general are very supportive, organized, and most importantly show a postive attitude towards making sure that our children are successful. We are looking into moving into a bigger home and will not be moving out of this area, because of this school. Thank you Edgebrook for being a high quality school even in a small suburban city. :)

We've had 3 kids go through this school from K-3 and their teachers were terrific. The office staff was a joy to talk to and very helpful. Only bad thing and it has nothing to do with the school staff itself is that the parking/pickup/dropoff situation is horrendous. There did seem to be more parent involvement in the earlier years but that changed a bit with the change in principals (this may not have anything to do with it), but nothing that would prevent me from recommending Edgebrook to someone.

We have a wonderful staff that truly cares about the children. Also, very supportive parents who are involved in their children's education and daily lives.

The teachers and office staff at Edgebrook are the absoulte best!! From the moment you enter the school you can tell every employee cares about your child! We moved here from Canada and my son started grade 2 there and right from day one my son had nothing but the best experience there! A big part of that was his 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Kreul. I cannot stress enough about how great the staff and teachers are at this school!

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Illinois used the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and in grades 4 and 7 in science. The ISAT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Illinois. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
