After reading some of the reviews I did not think they were reviewing the same school I send my kids to. Perhaps someone just has an ax to grind, and judging by all the misspelled words they are not too bright. I have personally met with the Pastor and never got the impression that he was rude or unprofessional, he is a caring man and insist that everyone attend weekly mass. Sacred Heart School s enrollment has risen over the past few years. I am not sure why anyone would insist that enrollment is down. During open house I saw the computer lab and the classroom technologies, all are up to date, and they have LCD Monitors throughout the school as well as SmartBoards in the labs and interactive projectors in the primary classrooms. I inquired about floppy disks and the children do not use them, they save their data to USB Drives. Sacred Heart follows the same curriculum as all the school in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Their fundraisers are great, their Pasta Dinner and Night at the Races are always a bit hit. The principal and teachers are very dedicated and caring.

I would not recommend this school to anyone! The enrollment is down and fundraisors are obessive. The faculity does nothing to resolve problems out fear they may loose a student i.e money tution coming into the school. If you looking for a private school try saint luke's as they have much more to offer including band, air condition and a faculty that cares.

It is a great school. The events are fun and students learn a lot of interesting things.

Sacred Heart is an excellent school. Overall this is a well run and academically challenging school. There are many very dedicated and excellent teachers at this school. The Principal is very dedicated and caring. Sacred Heart provides my children with a very safe and secure environment.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
