My son had an IEP for learning difficulities. I had a difficult time getting the accommodations and services he needed. I had to do a lot of homework myself to determine what services would benefit him and had to do a lot of advocating for him. During 5th grade, they began swithching teachers for science, math, and social studies. Apparently, the student's performances were not what they should have been and they stopped switching classes mid-year. If your student does not have any special education needs, they would likely find Meadowbrook a very adequate school. If your student has any special needs or has an IEP, I would suggest you become very involved and advocate for the services they need.
