Horrible school! New principals every year & a lot of politics. My daughter was attacked by an unattended student prior to the morning bell INSIDE the school! Did I mentions she was on crutches? We go to St. John Brebuef in Niles now & can see the... more

About this school

Melzer serves more than 520 PreK-6th graders living in Morton Grove. One of East Maine District 63's seven schools, it supports academic, social, emotional, and physical growth. Melzer students attend D63's Gemini Junior High and then Maine East High School. At Melzer, we celebrate diversity and focus on the whole child. Our educators care deeply about helping students succeed; we provide rigorous, differentiated instruction based on the Common Core State Standards.
