My sons attend Hynes and we think it is a great school. The facilities are older but the faculty and staff are top-notch. The classes are small and the students get individual attention. The population is very diverse with the bulk of students seeming to be first-generation Americans, and the families place a high value on education. There is a lot of parental involvement with many parents coming in for an art program called 'Picture People' and for my favorite 'Myster Reader' among others. The PTA funds all the field trips and they own their own buses. The principal is wonderful, very hands-on, loving yet firm. My children are very happy to be a part of the Hynes family.
