Awesome teachers and staff who really care about each and every student!
Support staff is excellent and teachers are good. As a parent and educator, I see the need for stronger leadership--teachers seem to have lots of leeway in how they can handle discipline problems and home work, so more consistency would make this an outstanding school.
This school is in District 57 and although ISAT scores are emphasized there is a lack of attention to children with learning disabilities. Inclusion is not embraced and instead self-contained special education classes are the preferred method of instruction for special needs children instead of inclusion.
It is a good elementary school Mt. Prospect. Staff is very friendly and number of parents help out with so many different activities. I would say quality of academic programs is good as well.
