We love this school! My daughter started in Our Nest in the summer! AGBMS fits all our requirements for a great Montessori school without paying a lot of money! The new building was designed by the staff so it's very spacious and child friendly! The teachers are experienced, knowledgeable and friendly! The school program is an authentic Montessori curriculum!

I had 2 kids in this monessori and they were full time, but after a year I pulled them out. I think they did a horrible job of keeping my younger child challenged through the day, and the staff didn't communicate well with me or my younger child. Overall it was just a waste of money....

This school definitely feels like a second home to children. It's very small, but quality of education is good compared to other private schools. The school mainstreams deaf and hard of hearing children with hearing children, BUT it is by no means a school for deaf children. Authentic Montessori materials are used throughout Children's House and Elementary. Presently, the drawback is lack of space, so if you have a very active child, this is not the place to be, but there is good news! The school will be building a brand new building and has high hopes of increase enrollment. The staff is not always professional, but somehow things get done/ Definitely recommended for age 3-6, and depending on the child, elementary may work as well IF there are many in the same age group. If there is only 1 twelve year old in the whole school, it's not a healthy sign.

My son has been in the Children's House program at AGBMS since September of 2003. What he has learned in this short amount of time is truly amazing. He has developed at a rate I didn't realize was even possible. But that is largely due to the great teacher/child ratio in the classroom and the teachers ability to educate and guide the students in a manner that truly fosters a genuine desire to learn. The school is small and I wouldn't let the size deter you because the quality of the teachers and the education, both in Children's House and the Elementary program is top notch.
