I feel that the alternative school here is just play ground. My grandson was sent there as punishment. (Three times you are out.) He was given work to do that he did in grade school. There was no sports nor art. The interesting thing is that he was given grades from the regular school on all the subjects he was signed up for in high school. He was not able to do welding nor any of the other other classes in the alternative school but yet he was given grades(called projected grades) on welding as well as other classes. I personally think it is a waste of tax payers money and a place to put 'throw away kids' and I think it is a disgrace. I know of some alternative schools that have made a major difference in a child's life.

I feel that kids are better taught here at alternative. It has a bad name, but other than that its a great school!
