This school has tried to make strides but has failed. The money they get goes into athletic buildings, fields and scoreboards and is not addressing the below state average academics. The school board needs to invest more time in what they can do to turn this around and less on the sports. The school board needs to take control of this place and find out why there is fiscal appropriations going to sports and not else where.

That schools gets worse and worse each year. I hate to admit it but I think I'm actually going to move, so my child can go to a better school.

Ridgewood is a great school overall. It has a variety of excellent after school sports and clubs for anyone. The teachers and staff are very supportive and willing to teach us too. The building itself has been remodeled a little bit, such as, the library and and new gym. Ridgewood highschool has given us an amazing education and has done that for the past 50 years. Here is the real deal Ridgewood Highschool is an extrodinarary highschool for children that want to learn and have a great future.

I am extremely disappointed in this school. The building is antiquated and just now going to be somewhat revamped.

This is an excellent school. Don't listen to the first two comments, they are most likly written by the ignorent parents that live in this town. Just like the majority of the kids here, the parents obviously cannot piece sentances together. Ridgwood Highschool is a very exceptional school, but most of the kids who populate the school are ignorent failures. The parents of these children do nothing but complain and blame this school for their kids problems. Generally you see parents, just like the first two posters saying this school is too strict because their children are fools who refuse to learn or cooperate. If your kids have a passion for learning and intend to grow then Ridgewood is an excellent school for them to attend. If they are slackers they will find nothing but diciplin here by the excellent staff. The lack of diversity can't be blamed on the school, so dont complain.

Ridgewood Highschool is not so great. Students will not know what the real world is like if they go here, it is so self diciplined! They are to strict and hard on the students that go here. They give a good quality of work here. The majority of children that go here are all white's, not that it's bad at all because it's not, but it is very dull there is no other ethnic groups really. That is something they need to change about this place.

This school is not so great at all. The fact that the majority of the student body consists of white students is very boring. Ridgewood and Norridge are like living in a bubble. The strictness this school puts forth onto rules and policies is truly unneccesary. Attending this school is like attending prison, it is very uncomfortable and dull. Unfortunately the faculty and staff tend to be very stereotypical and close minded themselves. Sure you might leave this school fulfilled with all ther smarts you wish, but you will know nothing of how to survive in the real world with real people. To put it bluntly the school and its members are blind.

This school is acctually really good! Maybe they didnt score that high on there test but the teachers try to help each student with problems they are experiancing. This school has a lot of extracurricular activites such as clubs and sports that each student can join. Also they have a no cut policy so each student who trys out for a sports team makes it automatically.
