My kids attended St. Clare before we moved. They now attend another Catholic grade school. St. Clare's teachers and staff are very good and really teach the children the skills they need to know. My kids were well prepared for their new school. My kids always talk about St. Clare with their new friends and what a great school it is.

We are almost through my 2nd grader's first - and last - year at St. Clare. It has been a difficult year, as they move very slowly through the curriculum and their teaching methods seem to be as old as the building. We have found the faculty and administration unwilling to work with us to keep our child challenged in the classroom - even just helping us with work we can do at home.

My daughter is in second grade and has attended St. Clare since Kindergarten. So far I am pleased with her academic skills and Catholic education. She has had very loving, caring teachers and developed wonderful phonics skills. Her class size in Kindergarten was 14 and has since been 20-21 kids. There is a sense of community and caring at St. Clare.

We are a military family who moved here from Germany. Our son started kindergarten at St Clare & he'll finish 2nd grade before we have to move. The teachers we've had are very dedicated to their students. A very good Catholic education!

An average school as far academics go. Not the school for any child that has any special needs, including ADHD. Good for a family that has average to above average students who want a Catholic education.

I couldn't be happier with St. Clare School and the way they are preparing my kids for success in high school and in life. Study skills and organization are worked into the curriculum. The workload can be challenging at times, but the staff at the High School can very easily identify St. Clare graduates. They are the ones that can handle the work load, they know how to study, and are well behaved. The sense of community at the school is important to me. Parental involvement is strong, since we have similar values and expectations for our children. The values and morals that are part of every school day shape the kids into caring, responsible Christian citizens. I would agree if your child has special needs or is exceptionally gifted, St Clare might not be the best fit.

As a former student, I can honestly say that St. Clare prepared me and my classmates for high school and beyond. From my class of around 30, everyone excluding two or three students are attending college at this time. At high school, many of the most prestigious academic and athletic awards were given to former St. Clare students even though my graduating class was only around 30. Much is expected from your kids at St. Clare, but the teachers are extremely dedicated and will help no matter what the circumstances. And for those who say St. Clare is lacking in education, take a look at the evidence; St. Clare is in the top 10 percent of standardized test, and poses a challenging curriculum that will challenge your child academically and intellectually.

When we moved here from St. Louis, we thought that a Catholic school would be a good choice since the Catholic school system is very strong in Missouri. Unfortuantely, this school is struggling to survive, and it is showing in the education. Not only is the facility seriously lacking, the but faculty hasn't kept up with the times in terms of teaching methods. Unfortunately, it took us 1 semester of attending here to figure this out.

We spent one very disappointing year at St. Clare. The teaching methods are as old as the school. Kids need to be very selfsufficient and organized, this is expected not taught or encouraged. We moved on to Moye where we have been very happy ( and so are the kids)!

This school may have been good in its day, but its day is definatly past. Our child spent one long year in this school, and then we moved on. The school building is falling apart and the teaching methods are as old as the building. It is probably fine for an average student if you only want a Catholic education, but it is not the place for a good Catholic education.
