While the public schools may leave no child behind, they don't seem to be worrying about making sure the smart kids get ahead either. My child was "stuck" in the public schools for 2 years before I found NEA - bored and unchallenged. While the local school district used to offer "academically talented" coursework, that is long gone with budget cuts. At NEA, we've found a school that can provide academically talented kids with the challenge they need DAILY! Plus daily Spanish language, Tae Kwon Do for PE class, and a family-oriented atmosphere where parents are truly welcome in the school. We love NEA and highly recommend it to any family looking for a better way to educate their child.

After fighting with the public school system and still feeling like my son was not getting what he needed to understand the material I finally switched to NEA. I only wish I had done it sooner! He loves school again and the small class ensures that he understands the information presented. There are no more fights about homework or getting up for school as he eagerly awaits each new day and experience. The instructors are wonderful and are able to break down the information so that the student really fully understands. He is doing better in math and he loves the Spanish. He is excited about learning again & I could not be happier.

When I learned that my child would not be able to start school when planned because we happened to be stationed in this area in the beginning of her educational career, I sought out the private school options. NEA was the school in which I felt as if they welcomed us into thier family. The curriculum is fantastic, and the ability teach it at each individual students level is exactly what every school should strive to accomplish. My older daughter has blossomed in the smaller environment, an excited about learning and school. She is constantly thinking outside the box, an putting together the puzzle like structure of our world. My youngest benefits from the constant problem solving the teachers and parents do together to create the perfect individualized learning plan for each student. And they both have benefited from the spanish in terms of learning to speak it, as well as learning the larger concept of viewing it as just another subject. They are not intimidated by language any more. This is a school that must be experienced in person, well worth the money to guarantee your children a good solid base in their educational career.

A great small school environment. My daughter missed the state kindergarten birthday cut off by 13 days and the local schools refused to assess to see if she was ready for kindergarten. Instead they wanted her to complete a third year of preschool. By the end of the second year started complaining that 'school is boring'. We chose to seek a private school that would assess her and place her based on her abilities not age. NEA was the perfect choice. They assess her and saw that she was more than ready for kindergarten and she has been excelling since. She is starting to read books by herself and her handwriting has exploded. She never says she is bored and states that she loves school. We are thinking about sending our 40 month old to the pre-k portion so she will be ahead of the game come her time for kindergarten.

My child attends New Enterprise Academy. This year is her third year at the school. We have attended two other private schools in the area and have found this experience to be superior. It is a positive, warm, learning environment. My younger child has started Pre-K at New Enterprise Academy this year and we look forward to the same great experience for her. I prefer the schedule because sufficient time is allotted each day to Language Arts and Math to ensure that a good foundation is built in these critical subjects. The conversational Spanish is also exceptional.

My two children attended NEA for three years. Not only did my children love it, but my husband and I did too! Prior to NEA, our children attended Governor French Academy. There is absolutely no comparison. NEA provides an accelerated curriculm in a warm, loving, environment. My son who was a fifth grader, was ready to place out of high school Spanish I. Senora Mark originated from Spain and has done a fabulous job teaching the children conversational Spanish. My children consistently excelled. Their academic achievements were corroborated by independent testing from other sources. One of my children has been accepted into Advanced Placement for Math, Language Arts, and Literature. If you're looking for a small school with an accelerated curriculm, individualized attention, teachers who not only know you and your children, but also care about them, this is the school for your children! It was worth every cent!

New Enterprise Academy is a Great Private School in O'Fallon. The difference is that from 40 months and up, NEA works with the individual learning styles and capabilities of even the yougest kids. These kids are ready to learn, not just be babysat. The Pre-K program at NEA uses many proven methods for developing early language, math and reasoning kids in these youngsters so by the time they get to Kindergarten or 1st grade they are well ahead of the curve and have much more confidence. This enables them to really love the learning process for life, because they know relative success from a very young age. These kids are not pushed at NEA, just attended to properly. They love it!

I have two children attending New Enterprise Academy in O'Fallon, IL. We wanted our kids to start school in a private school environment, not be just one of many students in the public school setting. My children are thriving at NEA with the smaller classrooms. They get the individual attention that is more conducive to learning. I highly recommend NEA to anyone intertested in a small, well rounded, private school.

We started our Pre-K aged daughter at NEA this January and we have been extremely impressed with the teaching staff and administration. After an exhaustive search throughout the O'Fallon area, we settled on NEA because of the structured approach to learning and the exposure our Pre-K daughter is getting to math, reading, spanish, and social studies concepts, to name a few. There is no other Pre-K program in O'Fallon that offers this type of introduction to school-age curriculum. The teachers are absolutely amazing--their dedication is above and beyond. Our daughter's teacher in particular is extremely organized, patient, and professional, yet loving to the children. In addition, the 2 to 15 teacher to student ratio in my daughter's class is superb. I would highly encourage you to visit and see for yourself!

My son is a student at NEA and I have been very impressed with the school. We looked at every private school in the Belleville/O'Fallon area, and we believe that this is the best. This is definitely a good choice for a challenging academic environment; the science and math programs are signifcantly better than any public or local Catholic school offers. The children seem to come from very good parents, as they are remarkably well-mannered and respectful to everyone. The diversity of the school is remarkable for the size, which is a big plus for our family. If you are looking for a school for your grade school-aged child, definitely check out NEA.
