Excellent school, caring teachers, and fair administrators. Their science club was great for my kid!
My daughter attended Scarlet Oak for fourth grade. She made significant academic growth. I spent countless hours assisting her, and made it known that I expected nothing less from the teacher(s)and staff members. The level of investment of the teachers seems to be proportionate to the parent(s).There were sufficient extracurricular activities. Parental involvement was encouraged within limits. (Race and SES appear to play a major role in the quality of education that a child receives.) I worked hard to make sure that my child had a pleasant experience...and she said that she did!
