I removed my children from St Linus this past year due to huge class sizes and a general dissatisfaction. Kindergarten and first grade are kept small but as soon as you hit second grade your child will be in an enormous class and you will not be informed until summer vacation! Facilities are outdated and all monies raised go to the Athletic Dept. I found most families to be very nice although there is a clique. It was difficult to move my children but it was the best decision I have made to date.

A great school? You have to be kidding! Poorly staffed and lead by an incompetent principal. It's time to be honest here...

St. linus is an all sports school, THis years eighth grade won two confrence chamionships also known as the illustrious 'GOLD BALL' The education is pretty good. IF your kid like sports and is good send them to this amasing athletic sports machine

Excellent school, hands down. Dr. Stritch is a wonderful school leader and is making great things happen at this school. The school is well run, organized, and welcomes transfer students in with open arms in a very Christian way. St. Linus is exactly what I always wanted for my childrens.

St. Linus is a great school. My daughter learns so much and has fun doing it. She is also involved in basketball, competitive cheerleading and volleyball here. It has given her a nice platform to build her life on. My daughter always talks about how much she likes the teachers and Dr. Strich. She has often told me about Mrs. Johnson, the seeventh grade teacher. She inspires her and helps her get a great education and makes it fun with different projects along the way. She also likes Mr. Pawelski. He is a great science teacher and always makes her laugh.

All four of my children were fortunate enough to receive their education from St. Linus. I cannot speak highly enough about the dedicated staff and administration at St. Linus. Like any place, not everyone is happy and hopefully, they will find a suitable place for their child. Dr. Stritch and Fr. Corcoran have done an amazing job to continue to make this school what it is today.

I am so pleased to have both my children starting their school experience at St. Linus. They are in Pre-School. Ms. Reich and Mrs. Kott are fantastic. My children enjoy the artwork, music, circle time and socialization. They practice writing their names and have the opportunity to participate in performances. The other parents I've met are very nice. The environment is safe and has a well protected playground area. There are reasons for good and bad experiences. Sometimes the bad ones are pushing you in the direction you need to really be following. It's a parents responsibility to make a school assessment, follow their instincts and be involved in creating a positive school experience for their child.

I recently graduated from St. Linus and I am now in High School and performing very well. St. Linus did a great job in preparing me for High School. It is true that St. Linus is mainly sports-orianted, but the teachers there are very good at what they do.

I know many families who have removed their children, including our family. St. Linus has a handful of 'cheerleaders' and they speak very highly of their school experience. I agree with one of the other reviews... 'meanness rules'. I didn't experience much in the way of Christianity. I am so glad that I took my child out. We moved to the public school system. They made the Honor Roll for their remaining 3 years in school and had a vast amount of clubs, sports and other activities to choose from. Little do most people know, St. Linus does receive some funding but it all goes to the Athletic Dept. Kids will get a better education in the public school!

The youngest of our five children attended St. Linus for four years and graduated from there. . We have a basis for comparison and can tell you that not all Catholic schools are of the same par.St. Linus is excellent! Our son was very well prepared for high school and it no surprise that so many of the graduates win scholarships to area high schools each year. The ART program is outstanding!!! The kids learn so m and the subject complements cross curriculum studies and enriches the strong spiritual development.Great energy and parental involvement. Sports and extra curricular activities are plentiful!

St. Linus has several wonderful teachers. The school is all about sports so if your child isn't into sports, save him and yourself the heartache of favoritism and being left out. Plenty of cliques so beware. meanness rules

Over the past few years, St. Linus has really improved its system! The new principal, Dr. Michael Stritch, is a blessing to St. Linus. He has added many important things, such as educational and entertaining field trips nad National Junior Honor Society. The teachers make a tremendous effort to get children involved in after school clubs and activities. The band is small, but talented. Parents have many opportunities to get involved. There is the ladies guild for moms, and the mens club for dads. Both help raise money, and plan activities for the school. Overall, the academic test scores are above average. My opinion of St. Linus Elementary School is VERY positive.
