Our family has been a part of the Arcadia community for 4 years and we now have a 3rd grader and a Kindergarten student at the school. WE LOVE IT. Our oldest son has been challenged and has responded well. Our youngest son has a strong personality and his teacher (who also taught our oldest) has been gracious and effective in working with us to channel his enthusiasm appropriately. Mrs R is truly wonderful to work with and inspires loyalty and performance from her faculty members and staff.
Arcadia Elementary is one of the best elementary schools in the State of Illinois! The teachers are well-prepared, student-focused, and progressive in providing interactive learning experiences for the students. They also require parental involvement in the school, so parents play an integral role in student success.
This school is superb! My children have been in both the Naperville, IL and 0ak Park, IL districts. This school can definitely hold its own! The principal Mrs. Ransford is excellent, and I have not met a teacher that doesn't expect greatness yet!
Arcadia Elementary School is a wonderful place for any child to receive an education. My son begain grade K with a speech inpediment. Ms. Jackson has brough my son so far. He is now in the third grade and his speech is fluent. The teachers are excellent! Mrs. Ransford is so caring and supportive. I adore this school. They are an extended arm of my family.
This school is fantastic! I transferred my children from a private school and they are flourishing at this school. The school has so much more to offer than the private school. The principal and the staff are great! My only regret about this school is I wish I would have enrolled my children sooner. I have a kindergarten and second grader at the school.
Amazing school! Excellent teachers and staff! Awesome principal! My daughter entered into the district half-way through 1st grade and was welcomed into the Arcadia family immediately. She excelled academically and blossomed socially. Now that she's on her way to Indiana, we're a little sad to leave Arcadia behind and a little worried because nothing can quite compare.
Arcadia is a wonderful school. The school has a great principal who epitimizes dignity and professionalism. The teachers attitudes and actions reflect this leadership. The teachers have a wonderful relationship and work well as a team. Their are several programs for the students to be involved in such as student council, choir, scholars and leaders, gifted art, girls on the run, yoga, and afterschool runners of all ages and genders. Their are wonderful displays of student art and writing on the walls. Their is also a artist of the month display which educates students on different types of art. Some of the artist are local which is really exciting. The parent teacher organization provides great funding and subsidization of student activies. It is a great place in which students, teachers and parents connect!
The teachers are genuinly concerned about the kids getting a good education in a safe environment
I think that Arcadia has a great academic program. My daughter has been attending this school since Kindergarten and she's doing really great. The teachers are wonderful and very much aware of the needs of the students. Keep up the great work!
My family has had a six-year relationship with Arcadia. Our experience has been phenomenal! My children have thrived academically as a result of the strong foundation they have received from Arcadia. Arcadia's culture is warm and welcoming. The children are loved and nurtured on a daily basis. Arcadia's principal and teachers have very high expectations of the students and challenge them to excel. The principal and staff know every child by name and encourage parents to be involved in the school in every way possible. Their holistic approach to education includes entertaining and innovative in-class lessons, and programs like Scholars and Leaders (encourages student leadership and scholarship), Opera for the Young (the children perform), and Readers on the Run (encourages physical fitness and the joy of reading). Arcadia is a model school in every sense of the word. My only complaint is that there aren't more schools like it!
