21st century is an excellent school. My daughter got her start there when she was 3 yrs. old and continued there until she was 7. She is now reading 2 to 3 grades above her current grade. I hate that we had to leave but we had to move. She is now 9 years old and in the fourth grade and scored off the charts for reading(99) and math(94) on her SAT she took in 3rd grade. I credit her academic success to the excellent teachers that they have there. the principal and other staff there really does a great job at encouraging parental involvement and making the parents feel welcomed and important too. This is the best school my daughter has ever attended. We miss you and keep on doing what you do. (putting out future leaders and scholars!) thanks!!

My son is in the 1st grade this is his second year and for preschool he had Mrs. Luster she is a great teacher and Mrs. Gladstone was his Kindergarten teacher the best. I can't rate his present teacher, because school just started I will know more by December, but as for now everything seems to be going okay.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Illinois used the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and in grades 4 and 7 in science. The ISAT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Illinois. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
