My son transferred to Lincoln in 7th grade. Wonderful school! I cannot say enough good things. The curriculum offers a wide variety of classes which are taught VERY well. The teachers are very caring and involved. From the day we registered we were impressed. Parent Night just reinforced our initial feelings. My kid had some trouble in a class, the teacher asked us in for a meeting right away, and took an active role in going above an beyond to help. They all did, and they continue to keep in contact to let us know how things are going. The difference between this and Chicago Public Schools is night and day. We are so glad we made this move.

I have onne graduate, one current student and one incoming student of Lincoln Middle School. Excellent supportive and attentive staff. Problems have been dealt with quickly, my kids are THRIVING is this supportive environment. From the administration to the teachers to the support staff and the office ladies a real feeling of striving for excellence for each and evey child. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Found the teachers and administration to be uncaring for the individual students and more interested in test scores and making everyone fit a mold. Found the school to be very lax about discipline and controlling violence in the lunchroom and school grounds. Was not impressed with the teachers at all.
