I am a former student and I have to admit that I enjoyed my time at Limestone to a point. Many of the teachers were fair in how they treated students but then there were also the teachers that spoke condescendingly whenever given the opportunity. It seemed to them that knowledge was something they would only bestow upon the priveledged few. There also wasn't much unity in the school unless you were an athlete. I am now an employee and I have to admit that I have seen that change especially with the advent of the "Rocket Rowdies". These kids have so much school spirit that the stands at games are almost always to capacity. I have also noticed a change in how students view their futures. Students know they need an education to get somewhere in life and that's very refreshing.

I believe that like other schools that they over play sports and their importance. Yes, they are wonderful exersice and all but they need to have knowledge as well because you can only go so far on your athletic ability. What will they have when their knee or shoulder goes out and they don't get their scholarship? Just a thought to keep in mind.
