Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

So much better then those fakes from Saint Vincents, there all just stuck up rich people! My child was bullied at the school for the longest time at St Vincents and they didnt do anything to help him. He is so much happier at St Phils now and I love it! Its a great education and community. Although some of the teachers aren't the best its still a good school.

This school sucks. Bullying goes on there from left to right. The teachers are very mean and way too strict. They also don't have the greatest academics either. Trust me, don't send your kid here. St. Vincent de Paul school is a great enviroment though and great academics- A BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL- So boo tigers and Go Vikings.(St.Vincent de Paul School)

It's a fantastic school! The children are as humbled as can be compared to other local catholic schools. The Teachers are wonderful and caring. We are truly blessed to be a part of the St. Phil's family. They except all kids with open arms. My son has ADHD and they have accommidated him when needed. Another family has a child that has Down's Syndrome. When other local Catholic schools would not take him...St, Phil's did. Catholic schools should accomidate more for children with learning disabilities, and unfortunaly they don't. Thats why I think St. Phil's is exceptional! THey love the children and want to help them in anyway possible. Thank you St. Philomena's!

Best school in central Illinois with tremendous improvements in last three years. They now have a waiting list for some classes this fall and they are adding classrooms with the highest enrollment in years. This is happening in the middle of a 60 plus year old neighborhood in a large urban area. I doubt that any other school in central Illinois have a waiting list with eqaul percentge entrollment growth.

The teachers and staff care, the kids learn and there is a sense of community. I have coached basketball at St. Phil's for 5 years and have yet to have a bad boy.
