I've already had to move one of my children to another school. The bullying and ineffective handling of this problem is causing many parents to rethink pulling their children out of this school. In the past 2 years at least 10% of the students that were in 5th - 8th grade have been removed and now attend another middle school in the Peoria area, because of this. The test scores are low because they can't control their classrooms, so even if your child is a good student they won't get the Opportunity to learn like they would in a different school. They do have a handful of dedicated teachers but that is a small number and they aren't able to make the changes that they would like to make. I was told by a unnamed teacher that I should pull my child out now because it's only getting worse. I'm not trying to belittle this school, what I have written is not just my opinion but the opinion of many parents. I think it only fair that a parent should see both sides of the coin before making a big decision like replacement of their child. Hope this helps....

Teachers keep in close contact with parents, so we always know what's expected of our child! Assigments are posted on the school site.

The staff is very caring, especially Mr. Meyer, the dean, and Dr. Johnson. The school notifies you whenever there's a problem, and works hard to rectify it. It's easy to make sure your child keeps their grades up, because you can check their assignments every day, and are emailed if they fail to turn in an assignment. My kids have gone here since preschool, and are now in 6th and 8th grades.

This school bullying is so high, you'd have better luck sending your child to district 150.
