Special Education teacher, Mrs. Mueller is very thorough and committed to her students which was an awesome continuance from Northview! Her aide, Miss Vezzetti, however (tho now gone) has a lot to learn. That is the school's responsibility and my reason for just an average score.
My son has Down Syndrome and Autism and overall the staff seems to accommodate his needs. The administration is in the same building and my son likes to say 'hi' to the superintendent, Mark Cross. Cross is a hands-on superintendent which helps to restore more faith in the public school system -that I once went to battle with..different superintendent. We've only just started with Washington and we have 2 more years...so overall I'd say the jury is still out as to a final rating...but here's my temp one...
