My student is now at Porta Junior High, but attended Porta Central for 5th and 6th grade. My child has ADHD and had many problems during those 2 years, but I must say that the principal and the teachers did everything possible to help my child. It takes a caring group of people to help these students, and Porta Central gave it 100%.

The school has a nice atmosphere and there are teachers willing to help parents or students when needed. There are alot of intelligent students and supportive staff at PORTA Central. I am proud to say that I am a member of a community with such a quality school.

PORTA Central sports an outstanding and caring educational environment. Administration, teachers, and even the kitchen staff are dedicated to delivering only the best educational content and providing a wonderful experience for children. The curriculum is challenging, yet the teachers provide needed encouragement and help so that all have an opportunity to learn and excel.

This school sports a negative emotional environment. Parents are discouraged from being a part of the education of their children. Administrators and staff are rude to parents. Very few teachers are willing to work with parents to benefit a student's learning. Families of disabled students find it hard to secure accommodations to which their student has a right.
