PHS is a great place for kids to learn. They make the most out of a difficult financial situation that restricts many educational institutions in Illinois. The staff is top-notch. They are more than willing to go the extra mile to facilitate the needs of your child. And most of all, they are committed to making the necessary changes to keep up with a progressive world. The atmoshpere is relaxed, yet the expectations are high. Graduates of Pittsfield have gone on to many major universities and are now successful adults. If it is best for the students, they will do anything within their power to provide the opportunity.

I'm a student of PHS and I would like to say this: They have excellent courses and the teachers are awesome you learn very well and have fun. They have awesome sports opportunities and they let parents in on just about everything. On the same note I would like to tell you that they spend more time worrying about your hair color or if you have a belly button ring than if you get teased on a regular basis. So if your child has an unusual hair style or color or if they have anything pierced but thier ears, do not send them here they will get suspended. If your child get sick alot and you can't afford the doctors bills don't send them here. P.S. The Spanish here is awesome and the teacher teaches it well and she is nice. Respectively the Freshman.
