WBO has a few dedicated and talented teachers. Just a few. Contact from most of the teachers is a joke. It usually takes me twice before I get a response and one teacher flat out refuses to contact me even after I got the principal involved. Not that he tried to do much. His own staff rolls their eyes at the mention of his name. The schools is way more concerned about what's printed on your kids t-shirt than they are about helping kids to succeed. I am horribly disappointed in this school, the teaching staff, the office staff (awful to parents and students, alike!) and superintendent Dr. White. With the exception of a few good teachers, I give this school a D. Unfortunately,

My girls have had a wonderfule experience at WBO! First of all, there IS an anti-bullying program in effect and working wonders. My girls have always felt safe, encouraged and respected. Teacher contact is always easy- emails and call are returned same day. The prior and current principal have always had a very open door policy, are open to suggestions and care about every child in the school. When our youngest didn't fit the "mold" for extra help, the teachers went above and beyond to work out a program where she could receive some supplemental help. The only way I can see communication being a problem witht he faculty is if you can not give the the courtesy of a few hours to gert back to you, or if you approach them in an inappropriate manner. GREAT SCHOOL! and getting better every year!

This school is aweful. They have a huge bullying problem and do nothing about it. If your child has any problem whatsoever academically, they just pass them along. They don't care about anything but getting their paychecks. The change principals like we change our socks.
