I like Plano Middle school because they care about my childs success. We moved here from the city and the schools in Chicago treated my son like a number. The teacher sat with us to come up with the best individual plan for my son

I hate to be negative but bullying is a major problem in the Plano Middle School as well as the High School. Bullying is a very serious issue that should'nt be taken lightly. Being 'picked on' can leave emotional scars that last a lifetime. Sometimes bullying gets even more serious and can be down right dangerous. I have seen children be ostricized and even threatened but sometimes these kids are too afraid to report it because they are afraid of the repercussions. Most of the times these kids even hide it from Mom and Dad. There is a thin line between teaching your child to forgive and forget and turn the other cheek or to stick up for yourself and fight back. There is an excellent book out now about bullying. It's by Jody Blanco. Its called Please Stop Laughing at Me. Everyone that works at a school should read it.

The faculty of PMS go above and beyond the call of duty. They're always there for the kids - very professional, extremely patient, creative and dedicated to learning. A true team.
