I recently graduated from Plains and the teachers and staff definitely prepared me for my future. I am attending a Big Ten university, and even though PPHS is not a large school, I was taught all I needed to know and more. There is a lacking in diversity in Pleasant Plains, but that will probably change as the renovations and additions get completed and draw more families to the community. Through school I was always academically challenged and encouraged to be involved in different groups. Not only are the academics doing well, but the arts are gaining momentum as well. You can really tell that the teachers and administration care about the students as they all put their best foot forward in assisting students to become the best they can be.

This is our first year in the district. We are very pleased with the high school. I wish there was more diversity among the students, but hopefully that will change with time. The building needs to be replaced and plans to do so are in the works. I have to give this school very high ratings in all categories. They truly care about their kids and there is a strong sense of community here.

They focus on more than the childs grades and test scores. They actually have character goals each year to help our children grow to be leaders.
