They have great involvement with parents such as many of the mothers working in the lunchroom. They also have fabulous junior high teachers. I feel that my child will be able to get into the high school of their choice when that time comes! Great school!
Very wonderful academics and nurturing school community. Our four children are second generation students - and not the only ones because it is a true community.
This school is really improving. My child qualified for Fenwick and so did many others, 6 yrs ago very few could pass the HS entrance exam. The new Principal is upgrading the faculty by hiring the best teachers from the schools that are closing. The Terra Nova scores are improving and they even teach the 8th graders a Personal Finance / Stock Market class. I think my 6th grader will also be able to pick the HS of her choice because of the education she's getting. Check it out!
St. Vincent Ferrer is a Catholic school that is working very hard to educate its students, academically as well spiritually. The principal, faculty and staff are constantly seeking ways to inspire the children to excel and also to instill in them their faith and the values that are missing in so many today. Many faculty members have been on staff for a number of years. They have shown such dedication to the children and their families. Parent groups support the school through various fundraising events. Many parents donate their time and energy to assist in programs that have a positive impact on the students.
there academics where few and i had a lot of fun there principal is a great, fantastic woman. she knows what to do in hard times and is there for every one. there elecitves where few and are now fewer the just cut spanish leaving art library and gym. the more involed there perants are teh less your child gets introuble so get involved lesson to someone whos kid was always in the office.
Unfortunately, the principal shows no leadership.
