My son is in the third grade and has been attending since 1st grade. The teachers he's had are very involved and concerned about the children learning. However, the kids are disrespectful to each other and sometimes staff. It's very difficult for the few kids who want to learn to learn and get the attention they need when teachers have to constantly stop the lesson plan in order to address behavior issues. The principal and superintendent don't seem to care much about the kids actually learning. There should be extracurricular activities for all students; they have band for the 5th graders. I'd love for there to be an option for at least Spanish class. I commend the teachers my son has had. They've communicated with me constantly to keep me informed. 1st grade Mrs. Brown, 2nd grade Mrs. Lopez, 3rd grade Ms. Banks.

The teachers are extremely caring and concerned about providing a quality education for the children. However, due to low parent involvement, poor administration, and no strong discipline learning environment is constantly disrupted. No quality extracurricular activities except art club. Students and parents need to focus more on education. The few students who are actually here for an education are being disserviced.
