Excellent school...true to Montessori Schooling standards......Mrs.Lisa and the administrative dept. specially Mrs.Gordon are very nice and helps out in every way. My son is in Toddler classroom and Mrs. Maribel is really very nice and polite with kids.......excellent mentor for kids...very happy with everything.
An excellent Montessori program; one of the best we've had our 4 children in! Great follow-through on lessons & excellent presentations/instructions by caring, intelligent, safe teachers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by our family!
My son is 2 years old. He loves going to school everyday. He is currently attending the summer camp program. The school have all kinds of activities for him to do everyday. He will be attending the fall semster at their deerfield location.
Wonderful school! Caring teachers and a self-learn approach with just enough guidance to cultivate true love for learning. My daughter was reading complex books at 4-1/2 and asking for more. My 1 year old son sometimes does not want to come back home at pick up time, he loves his teachers so much. I would highly recommend the school.
My son is 4 years old and currently attending Riverwoods Montessori School. Originally, I have planned for my kid to attend this school for several years, but now, having seen the complete lack of care for my child I am taking him out of there. The teacher/kid ration can occasionally go up to 25 kids, and that makes it really hard for the teacher to pay any attention to the kids, which usually results in kids fighting and name-calling. The bathrooms are filthy. The school does not notify parents if the kid suddenly became sick while in the school. The afternoon teachers are not aware of any activities that kids are doing in the morning, complete lack of communication between the teachetrs. Yes, the education is good, but at the cost of bad kids behavior and unsanitary facilities.
We are moving to California and I wish we could take this school and its teachers with us. My son was loved by his teachers as well as given the best of education. I only hope we can find a school that meets his needs as well in California.
