So far in the 2004-2005 school year, the faculty, especially the principal, has given unnecessary attention to students of Apostolic Christian background. I would not recommend this school to anyone who isn't a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.

Roanoke Benson is a small school but it has been wonderful for my daughter. The classes are small and the teachers really care and know each kid. It is a school were being involved in activities is encouraged and being cool is succeeding and being involved. The band director is great and over 80 of the 200 kids in the school participate in the band. We are a rural community where family values are not just buzz words but the main mission of the school board, administration, teachers and yes, even the kids. Taxes are low and the board is financially responsible. The previous tax increase had been passed in 1987 with a promise of not asking for another 7 years. The board did not ask until March of 2004 and the community passed it overwhelmingly. Great community, great schools and great kids.
