Ilove Thurgood Marshall because it is here to help struggling and at risk kids find success with their education. It is small (kids don't feel lost or like a number) and it is caring. Our staff does not just do lip service to helping, but works together to individualize programs to benefit students no matter what kind of problem(s) thet may have.
They are willing to do whatever it takes to help each student succeed!
I have had two students enrolled in this school. The staff strives to give the kids a good solid education along with dealing with their multiple disciplinary issues. I think that if more parents become involved and work more with the staff and demand that the kids attend class then in return the kids will see that getting their education is a positive movement towards a better future.
