We are now The Rock Island Center for Math and Science. Funding in Illinois has been cut and many positions have been eliminated. Any help we get is appreciated. We are striving to be innovative in technology while teaching children to succeed in todays world.
Horace Mann is a great school! It's hands-on approach is such a great way for children to learn and retain what they've learned. This school creates life-long learners. This fall, Horace Mann will roll into the new Rock Island Math and Science Center which is shaping up to be even better. By far the most progressive elementary school in the quad cities. The pricipal and teachers are first rate.
Very family oriented. Great teachers who care and listen to your thoughts.
An excellent school that has fallen on some tough times with new leadership. The faculity remains very strong.
