Very poor school. Kids are underperforming and cannot read and spell at acceptible levels. School officials do nothing about bullying. My son went to private school, but we decided to try this school. Big mistake! We pulled him out after 1 month. He was physically and emotionally bullied on a daily basis and repeatedly threatened with physical harm on the playground. My son was repeatedly assaulted and when complaining to the school officials multiple times, the principle presented us with an apology letter from the bullies. This was the bullies DISCIPLINE! An apology letter! We could hardly read either letter. As so many words were misspelled! These were 3rd graders who could not even spell sorry correctly! Even my younger son who was 3 and never attended school yet, could spell sorry! I was embarrassed. In addition to this, my son complained daily of being bored as 80% of his day consisted of only 2 subjects as the school was focusing on "teaching to the test" so they can keep getting government funding! He was miserable.

Teachers are trying their best, but for some reason scores are still low. School does not have challenging academic programs as other schools do in the surrounding neiborhoods schools. We need to pick it up. Scores are still low.

The staff is awesome, and the students are even better. Their reading and math scores keep going up. Way to go IHK!

The leadership of this school is very poor. There are great teachers who don't get the praise they deserve.
