The staff, the principal, students and parents make Ledgewood the greatest community of learning that I have ever known!

Ledgewood School is a K-3 school in a four school K-8 district that feeds into Hononegah High School. In my opinion, the community served by Ledgewood school is getting a wonderful return on its tax dollars the likes of which is rarely seen in the public education arena. Ledgewood is an example of dedicated teaching professionals and top-notch administrators working hand in hand with the community to deliver, in many ways, a better than private school education. The same can be said for Stonecreek School, the Kinnikinnick District's other K-3 school, located very near Ledgewood School. If you have kids in grades K-8, you can not go wrong with this District. The Kinnikinnick District is also served by the Roscoe PTO, for whom above and beyond the call of duty is routine. The Kinnikinnick District is K-8 public education at its best.

Ledgewood Elementary is an excellent school with a wonderful administration and staff. My daughter is in the 1st grade and sadly we have to leave the area. We will have a tough time finding a comparable school. Be thankful, if you are lucky enough to send your child/children here!
