Indian Hill Elementary School

This is a horrible school. Especially for smaller children. My child wasted a year in this school. I had to pull her out to place her in private school. The teacher was never there, the computers didn't work and the principle could not address simple questions and had no plan in place to improve the school. Find a site that provides real quantitative data on this school with no bias. I would not recommend this school unless you have no options.

I am very happy with my daughter's experience at Indian Hill. Her teacher, Mrs. Lee, is very caring and wonderful with her students. As a former teacher myself, I have been very impressed with her teaching style when I volunteer in the classroom. Also, the current principal, Dr. Hyllberg is awesome! My daughter loves him. He is so involved in after school activities and is great with the kids. With over 700 kids, I am impressed that whenever he speaks to a child, he always knows their name.

The teachers at this school are the best of the best. My son has been on the honor roll since 4th grade. I am hoping he does as well at the Middle School. However, the principal at this school does not handle discipline well and she does not treat her staff well. I have seen this myself! Overall, wonderful teachers and horrible administration!
