My daughter is currently enrolled in the EEC. Her teacher, Mrs. Hair, is excellent. I am also a teacher and I am very impressed with all of the things that I see going on at my daughter's school. As far as the ratio is concerned, Mrs. Hair's pm class has only 18 students. I feel that ratio is wonderful considering the private school down the road has 30 children in it's one Kindergarten class!

My child attended the EEC building for one week only and that was all the time I needed to see that her kindergarten class sorely lacked in the education department. The class size was 28 students to one teacher, and my daughter told me that half of the time she spent in class was waiting for the teacher to get control of the other students. My daughter was so bored the first week that I already had to start supplementing her school work at home with more challenging work. Having that many students in a classroom is not a productive enviroment in which a student can learn. Consequently my husband and I decided to take her out of EEC and enroll her in a private school. This is a shame.

My son went for the first time to school this year. Not only was it his first experience but mine also. His teacher was mrs.Leopard, she made him feel very comfortable. He's a very shy child and mrs.Leopard has coped very well with him and i really admire and appreciate it.It's not the school that looks good,it's the teachers that make it that way.Going to school is inevidable in life, but it makes it easier on parents when 'we'(the parents)are more at ease and comfortable with the teachers that are teaching our children.I hope there is more teachers like mrs.Leopard that make parents more peaceful and at ease that our children are safe and also learning with great teachers like mrs.Leopard.Keep up the great work teach!i hope my other 2 little ones get to have you as the teacher.
