W W Woodbury Elementary School

I love our little Woodbury. The children are definitely put first. Dr. DeCorte never fails to recognize each child's potential for learning. If a kid loves school they will succeed and that comes in the first year at Woodbury with their Kindergarten teachers. They are second to none. I love the unique extra-curiculars that Woodbury has to offer such as the school play, pottery class and art to name a few. I look at the Woodbury Staff as a team and each member brings a positive attitude to the children and makes sure they are learning up to their potential. Bottom line, Woodbury is a shining example of how to get the best out of children!

Woodbury School is an excellent place for students to reach their full potential. The teachers are caring and involved members of the building and the community who always go the extra mile to help ensure the success of their students. Dr. DeCorte organizes many extra curricular activities such as the annual school play and Spanish Club which are supervised teachers who volunteer their time to help out. All staff members are friendly and go out of their way to make the parents feel comfortable while they are visiting or volunteering their time. The PPA is a group of go-getters who are always coming up with ways to raise money to supplement the activities at WWW. They recently raised over $15,000 to buy new playground equipment for the playground. A fantastic school that puts students first!!

Wonderful school. The teachers have a great educational background and truely care about the acedemic success of the children. The principal is very progressive and very approachable. Numerous exrtacurricular activities including newspaper, school play, and so forth. Many parents are actively involved. An older building but the level of education far outweighs this one downfall.

This school is about togetherness and pride. Reading is very important to the principle and staff. Woodbury is on top of any problems you may have.
