I just recently found out that this school doesn't care whether students pass or fail their classes, they still move on to the next grade. RIDICULOUS! How is a student going to develop properly this way? If you don't get good grades, you don't go to the next grade. Simple as that. How can one student with bad grades be rewarded the same as one who tried hard and earned good grades? Doesn't seem right or fair.

Teacher effectiveness: Strongly disagree

The mentality is to get rid of the problem when it arises so they don't take time to properly address certain issues but brush them off.

They don't want to spend money on getting kids with special education properly evaluated and parents have to jump through hoops to get any help

I recently learned that the school has an isolated time out room, padded room once used as a small office or their "igloo", that they use without notifying the parents. Imagine finding out as a parent by reading a requested behavioral log of an adopted child who experienced trauma in his early years that the school, knowing his background, chose to use this type of punishment as a means to control a temper tantrum where he threw markers in class while upset. They have done 6 of these isolated timeouts hours at a time. He is 6. I hope that no one has to ever go through what I went through with this school and would encourage all parents to request a behavioral log for your child if you ever had to pick him up from school at their request.

The school district isn't the greatest around and it's curriculum gets me nervous. They take pride in their work but aren't helping the kids. Their school district is hungry for money. The money goes to technology that's "supped to improve" our kids, but it doesn't deliver. They have kids "reading" books on tape. Now i think that's disabling the kids from real reading and relying soley on their listening skills rather than their brain. This is only one complaint of many. Overall, the quality of education in this district is terrible. Keeping our kids at a sub par level and to never exceed expectations.

The school is horrible. Their curriculum is below the average level and leaves children bored. Level 5 out of 10 on scales. Teachers and staff only collect a paycheck. I had problems from the start and am glad to be able to transfer my child to a 10 school that genuinely cares and wants children to succeed.
