i think james r wood is a great school and my son has came along way in just a year!
James r wood elementary school is fabulous! They offer it all! Whether it is a teacher/aide on payroll, or a volunteer on the playground or in the lunchroom. So much of this schools emphasis is based on the children's learning and safety. I see peers go above and beyond to help children in need. (All areas) So many professionals from different backgrounds are accesible to put forth effort to see that children excell in all areas. Disciplinary action is brilliant, with positive reinforcement for troubled children. (Or even your occasional stinker!) Your child is an artist? James R Wood offers art classes in an after-school program in addition to art class during school hours. Your child likes music? Try band/choir. Sports? They've got it! Acting? You betcha! Whether you've got children who need to be challenged, or children with special needs, this school will provide it all!
