Clinton is a MUCH finer elementary school than this website indicates, why I don't know. My child has been there three years, I have volunteered there for two years and have 1st hand experience at watching the quality teaching and supervision that Clinton provides. Teachers and principal are fantastic and my child has excelled from they're hard work.

Teachers here are very good with the children. I`m so proud of the high test scores. And as a group the test scores prove the teachers are doing a great job here at Clinton.

I love that the principle is so involved with the students and parents! The teachers are patient and kind and the staff is always to answer a question or offer a suggestion! It's a great school and I went there when I was a kid too!

I have two children that attend Clinton and they have nothing bad to say about the school and teachers there. I myself have volunteered for different occasions and have enjoyed it every time. I do have to agree with the last entry in regards to the lunch and recess. I too belive that this is the kids' time to unwind and there is no reason why they should have to sit there and be quiet (my kids have told me about this).

The school and teachers are great. I just feel that when the children have lunch and recess that it should be time for them to play and talk. Some of the lunch supervisors need to remember that it is the kids 'time' and their time t relax and have fun, not be told not to talk or laugh. As adults were are not told what to do on our breaks, right? Kids are human too!

I'm actually shocked to see comments about the principle. I feel he's done an outstanding job. He's consistently outside to greet the children no matter what the weather (raining/freezing, etc). He has a positive attitude. He's involved in the classrooms, etc. I've only known Clinton as a good learning environment with my children being happy and safe.

The Principal, and the teachers have been wonderful! We have two children and both excel at Clinton Elementary. Our daughter has recently gone on to middle school and was enrolled in advanced classes due in part to her education received at Clinton. Thank you to all the staff at one of the finest elementary schools in U46 district.

This school is horrible, they have no real discipline if a child is being bad, it is not very inviting if you are a new student, and the principal decides to give even harsher punishments to the kids who are usually good rather than the 'bad' kids. Because of this, it distracts the children who want to learn, and it pulls the teacher away from the classroom.

I don't think this is a very good school. Kids are allowed to do as they please. I am pulling my child out because of the teachers and principal!

I think the academic programs here are well organized. The music classes are really efficent, my daughter has been so happy with her music class.

Going there 7 years of my life, I can say I got a darn good education there. When I was there, the art and music department were kinda stuck in closets and on carts. But Since I left, they each got their own rooms to work I and are quite large. The parent involvement is crazy! There are so many volunteers and volunteer opportunites. I love that school.
