Christ the King is an excellent school. Strong in academics and extra-curricula activities. Would not send my kids to any other school.

Have two in the school. Works very well for those that are average or slightly above. Not sure kids are challenged if they are above average or get help if below average. Dedicated staff. Weak principal. Nice families. Have not experienced that it is all about money at all.

I am the parent of two straight A students. Both of my students attended Christ the King school and were very happy there. My son was involved in the scouting program and my daughter was on the softball team as well as the scholastic bowl team. I think CTK is an excellent school even though it is rather expensive.

Christ the King is an excellent choice if you have the means and don't mind spending what I think is a tremendous amount of money for a mediocre education and although members of the parish get a small break it is still quite costly. The curriculum is questionable as is some of the teaching staff. However for the most part the teachers, staff and current principal are all very pleasant and the volunteer support from the parents is second to none. But unless you just want your child/children to only learn how nice the staff of a school can be than I say go for it this school is for you. Besides that; and I hate having to say it, but this school does not prepare their students for highschool at all and I do speak from experience. Please for the sake your childs future education pass on this school!

this school is horrible, the education is extremly poor, my daughter recently changed schools and is so glad that she did. the emphasis at christ the king is on MONEY, and you only 'fit in' if you spend money on the school. the school is a disaster. dont go there.

very very poor. we moved to springfield this year, and my son flunked half of his classes in the first and second quarters. we switched to a different catholic school (ironically, the rival) , and he did amazing. he is now at the top of his class, and while he rarley hung out with the other kids at CTK, he joined the blessed sacrament basketball team and has become close friends with all of his team mates. this school has done a much better job in preparing the kids for highschool, and i am very happy we switched DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO CTK! you will regret it. there, they emphesise cliques and popularity, and dont seem to care about grades AT ALL or real friends.

Excellent school that prepares students well for high school and college. Challenges students to be organized and responsible for their actions. Good extracurricular programs and support from the parent families.

This was not a good school for my daughter. The teachers are not supportive and did not respond to her needs. The teachers feel no obligation to respond to parent concerns and communication with the teachers was very difficult. Support staff are poor quality. Individaul needs are not addressed. My repeated attempts to contact the staff and teachers met with no success. She has blossomed in public school and is currently on the Honor Roll and involved in IMSA Science and the highest level math class in 6th grad. I can not in good conscience recommend this school to anyone.

Excellence education for all students. Extracurricular activities are nearly limitless. Average class size is around 25-30 with two classes for each grade level. Parent involvement varies by the student, but overall is great. Does a great job of preparing the students for high school.
