Munhall Elementary School

I am a parent of 2nd and 5th grade girls. Both girls have had some great teachers. The community feeling at Munhall is wonderful!

The teacher's and new principal are fabulous. They really care about the kids and it shows. The partners in reading program is a great help for those students who need a little extra help. Smaller class sizes would be nice but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

The academic programs, the music, art, sports and extracurricular activites are outstanding due to the fantastic parents and teachers. However, the overall leadership in this school could use an upgrade. Our family is not at all happy with the way in which this particular school is operated. If it weren't for the parents and all their dedication our family would leave the district all together. A public school leader should at least have their children enrolled in the public school system. We don't feel that our 'leader' agrees that the public school system is the best place for an education for our children if they don't even have their children enrolled. Obviously this is a person thought. You can agree or disagree but please take it for what it is worth. We love all the teachers at Munhall. They all exhibit love and understanding for all the students.
